NYVS presents "Garth Knox - Viola Spaces" featuring world-renowned new music specialist Garth Knox performing solo works by Henze, Ligeti and Nishimura as well as selections from his own recently recorded compositions “Viola Spaces” for 2, 3 and 4 violas as well as viola and cello. Performing with Mr. Knox will be violists Beth Meyers, Amelia Hollander Ames, Kirsten Swanson and cellist Lauren Radnofsky.

Scheduled to perform are the Janus Trio, Drew Vella, NYU Steinhardt School of Music Viola Ensemble, Joel Rudin, North Carolina School for the Arts Viola Quartet, Liuh Wen Ting, Jessica Meyer and Charles Dalton performing works by Loeffler, Michael White, J.S. Bach, Takemitsu, Reger, Frances White and others.
