Now in its sisteenth season, the New York Viola
Society continues to present programs of depth and imagination,
offering new and rarely heard works along with more standard repertoire.

feature world-reknowned Violists as well as our collegial events which provide an opportunity for Members to perform. These collegial events can be perfect opportunities for Members to present pieces featuring the Viola perhaps an opportunity to try out a piece for a future recital of their own or just a chance to play without the effort of organizing their own concert.

Recordings: We will post pages on this website for Members and others to provide information about new recordings of Viola pieces as well as other recordings that may be of interest to the Viola community and the music-loving public.
